Ok, so it's been about a year, I think since I've opened a blog and I'm just getting back to it! Yes, sad, but true! I still don't know how to save our old posts in dated sequence, but I'm posting a post anyway! So I no longer have a hard time falling asleep cause as soon as my head hits my pillow lately, I'm out. It's the getting to my bed at a reasonal time that's difficult now. My hunk of a man is not here lately to keep me warm and actually drag me to bed. Hopefully these times will soon pass. TJ works out of town right now so we all miss him terribly. Hayden is beginning to understand that he is away for a long time and home for a few days....he really looks forward to those few days he gets to be with daddy! As the wifey, my weeks do go by real fast while trying to stay busy, but I honestly hope this doesn't last forever...we are all hanging on just fine though. :) Our good friends Clayton and Camea just came to visit this weekend and we loved it. TJ misses his good bud, Clayton. It's always hard to say goodbye to buddies that go way back. We visited good ol' Yellowstone National Park with them and saw some huge buffalo and elk. I have pictures and some video's that will hopefully make it on our blog soon. :) Our house still hasn't sold...next month it will be on the market a whole year. Nice! Hopefully soon. Well, off to bed I be......

If you're wondering why we haven't changed our blog in forever, it's because honestly, I haven't had much time to mess around with it and I'm kinda learning as I go. I thought blogging was actually kind of a pain, until I just read through my sister-in-laws blog and thought, "man that's kinda fun to know what's going on in peoples lives and knowing how they are doing." I still am not sure how to save the blog we set up before and make more, so I'm just experimenting. So, we'll see if this works. It's another late nighter. Lately that seems to be my story. I lie in bed for a while thinking about stuff like; "oh, I really need to go over our budget," or "man, the laundry really needs to be folded" or I haven't checked my email lately" just silly stuff that keeps me from falling asleep. Or sometimes like last night I was just so excited about our future and dreams that I couldn't sleep. So tonight I thought I'd try to change our blog a little. I wish I had time to do more, but I'm affraid I will be hitting the hay soon. Tomorrow will be a long day.

Steph's cooking for Turkey Day in the kitchen. Clayton and Camea came all the way from Boise for a few days...what a blast! I think Kayla is going to be a talker on the phone one day...what do you think?
What a hair day Kayla is having....just getting ready for church...I know...her hair isn't done yet. Hayden and Kayla love olives. Hayden is watching a movie with is favorite Jersey on. He loves it, even if it's 3 sizes too big. LOL You should see Kayla cruise around the bowling alley. She rolls the ball and 2 sec. later she's out of there checking on the bowlers next to us.

We made a stop at the Flinstone car at Walmart! Yippee!! We've got to entertain them anyway possible in the wintertime in Rexburg. Thank goodness they are happy just climbing on the thing. Unless Hayden has money in his pockets then-watch out! He loves to spend his money

Well, we have been in Rexburg for almost 3 years now. That is a long time for us. We are selling our house and moving to the Phoenix area. Sub-zero temperatures are freezing us out. A change of scenery and lifestyle are well needed at this time in our lives. We are very excited to go. I think we've had enough of the small town experience. TJ is still running his own framing business for now and doing teambuilders of coarse. I'm still at home with the kids and workin on keeping the house spotless just in case we get a phone call for someone to look at the house. I have fun spending time with friends and trying to begin scrapbooking.
The kids are getting bigger and are really starting to be their own persons. It is fun to see Hayden grow. He loves movies and with the cold here it's hard to not let him watch movies and play games on the computer all day. :) That was a mistake to introduce those computer games to him because he would play them all day if I let him and often times the computers get messed up because little hands click on whatever. You can see both mom and dad in him. He loves to paint and help daddy at work. He helps mom clean up his things all over the house and clears his own dishes off the table. What a good helper. He is even eating all his food at dinner trying to become a better and improved "Buzz Lightyear". The broccoli helps his lazer light go farther, the potatoes give his shoes speed and the chicken helps him fly better. :)
Kayla is just a ball of fun. She is saying please and thank you , ball, Dada and she tries saying just about anything you throw her way. She calls mommy, "Daddy". She has to be a tough girl to play with Hayden and thank goodness for that. She's walking around kinda drunk looking, but getting better. She loves to help put clothes in the dryer and putting her dishes away. She has a goofy little personality that keeps us all laughing.

Uncle Chad and Hayden built a sled ramp to go off the deck. I have to admit it didn't work that well...but Hayden had a great time and I think Chad did as well.
